A2 Logistics is ambitious. Our new coldstore and distribution centre will be ready in 2014. This sustainable new building is being constructed on the De Wildeman industrial estate in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands, just to the east of the A2 motorway. The plans include a coldstore and distribution centre with a surface area of 25,000 m2 and volume of 300,000 m3. It has been designed according to the very latest developments in logistics, with an ingenious routing system linking the units and with a flexible layout, and is based on state-of-the-art refrigeration technology and maximum sustainability (insulation standards, energy reduction, natural cooling methods).
De Wildeman is situated close to the A2 motorway between Amsterdam and Eindhoven, and near the A15 (Rotterdam - Nijmegen), A27 (Utrecht - Breda) and A59 (Moerdijk - ’s-Hertogenbosch). The collective management of the estate imposes strict requirements with regard to external security. De Wildeman was voted one of the best 25 industrial estates in the Netherlands in 2009, based on accessibility, economic value, facilities, security and image.
